Day 0: Getting Ready for the Longest Flight in the World!

Good morning from the British Airways Lounge at Newark Airport where we will be spending 2 hours before we board our first flight, which will take the next 18 and a half hours!

Emily has settled in quite nicely with an Americano before we hit the breakfast buffet. We don't want to fill up too much though as the Singapore Air in-flight menu promises to be quite good.

So far everything has gone quite smoothly, from our scheduled 6 am Uber pickup in Summit to a short line to check our extremely heavy bags (60+ pounds each...)

We've spent the time in the lounge so far reading reviews of our upcoming flight and could not be more excited to kick off the honeymoon this way! Hopefully the time will be spent sleeping, reading (for Em), watching tons of movies (for Max) and generally resting up before our adventures really begin. Max even downloaded a specific anti-jet lag app called Timeshifter to help us acclimate.
